I’ve never seen prices like it. I had never had hot pot before, but I definitely will be again! I would recommend this to everyone when coming to London. I didn’t have to wait at all in a queue, but it got a bit busier after I came in. I got there at around 12.30. The staff were the loveliest people ever and waited on me hand and foot. overall 10/10!!- Wait time

My friend and I went to eat there after work at 6:30 PM on Tuesday (Oct 14). There weren't many people at the time, and the Maocai we were served was generously portioned - I ate for twenty minutes but only managed to finish half of it. It is tasty! This is something you need to eat in winter time.

Finally tried the much-hyped Mao Pai Huo. Their classic spicy broth is the real deal – rich, aromatic, and has that genuine mala kick without being overly heavy. I was pleasantly surprised that the broth is clear and light enough to drink, unlike some pot bases. A very comforting bowl, especially on a cold day. It's incredibly convenient for UCL students. The initial rush has died down, so there's no wait now, which makes for a perfect casual meal.- Food

A Pleasant Surprise for Non-Spicy Lovers
I was brought here by a classmate with low expectations for a non-spicy mala soup, but I was genuinely surprised. Their nourishing chicken broth version is excellent. The soup is a clear golden color, has a rich, authentic flavor, and feels very comforting. It's a perfect light alternative when you're tired of heavy, spicy food or just want a warm, satisfying meal. Highly recommended for anyone near UCL looking for a gentler option.- Service

Craving hotpot, I’ve just called in here for dinner and I’m certainly not disappointed! The choices and varieties available cater to all tastes, and it’s great to get something spicy that’s full of vegetables and flavour. The staff are very welcoming too. Will return!

Tried Mao Master for the first time, was served by Miao, she was kind, funny, and attentive. I was recommended the Woolongji drink, which paired perfectly with the spicy broth I ordered. The broth had depth and heat without leaving that heavy coating some places do, and the meat was actually good quality. Would come back and try a milder spice level next time to fully enjoy the flavours.
